Ripley Elementary has been identified as an Emerging Science of Reading School! Our teachers have worked hard to teach the science of reading in their everyday instruction by focusing on research-based practices and including evidence supporting phonological and phonemic awareness, phonics and word recognition, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension in their teaching. We are so proud!
