Blue Mountain Junior Mea Know was selected to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy this past weekend in Olive Branch. The conference represents a major commitment by the Rotary Club to enhance the leadership of today’s youth. Mea was able to associate with other students from different locations and backgrounds and she was also exposed to a broad range of business and professional leaders. The program material was geared toward developing these future leaders and to teach them leadership skills in a fun way. Mea emphasized that she had lots of fun and made connections and friendships. Thank you Ripley Rotary Club for allowing Mea to have this awesome opportunity.

BMS is "A" rated for the 2024-2025 school year!! Congratulations to all staff and students. We are proud of our new signage at the Elementary and the High school.
Today in Dr. Grisham’s English III class, students delved into a fake crime, deciphering documents, photographs, maps, police reports, and even train schedules to discover the culprit. Students used their organizational and critical thinking skills to determine relevance of clues and their logic to piece the puzzle together. This activity got the students up and thinking. They were also rather competitive in trying to be the first team to solve the crime!
