Pine Grove 10th grade students had the opportunity to participate in the Big Ideas Mobile Lab – Bringing Skilled Trades Exposure Directly to You.

Students engaged in hands-on learning experiences and received one-on-one instruction in areas such as carpentry, heavy construction, and welding. The lab’s skilled trades simulators and Oculus experiences provided an engaging and interactive environment for students to explore potential career paths.

It was especially meaningful to see a former Pine Grove Panther serving as the welding instructor, inspiring current students as they learned new skills. Many students shared their enthusiasm, commenting on how enjoyable the activities were and expressing new interest in pursuing careers in the skilled trades.
